Code of Conduct

We, the management, are very proud to arrange Song:Expo for the 8th consecutive year. Briiliant music makers from all over the world will once again gather in our premises to create tomorrow’s music. We strive to offer the most creative, fun and inspiring atmosphere possible. With this said, we are here to do our utmost to make you feel welcomed and appreciated – all in the name of unparalleled music and creativity.

This policy outlines our expectations with regards to all participants’ behavior towards fellow participants, staff and management. We expect all participants, regardless nationality, gender or rank, to fully respect Song Expo’s Code of Conduct as outlined below.

We, the management, do not allow any kind of discriminatory behavior. Sexual harrassment/abuse, bullying, racism, victimization and/or discrimination in any form; verbally, physically or visually, are strictly prohibited. If you should be exposed to any of the aforementioned no-no’s, we strongly recommend you to immediately report this to us. We will promptly and thoroughly take appropriate action since your safety and well-being are our top priorities.

Our position on substance abuse is simple: it is incompatible with the health and safety of our staff and participants. Consumption of alcohol is not banned at our premises, but we expect participants to use good judgment and never drink in a way that leads to impaired performance or inappropriate behavior and which endangers the safety of others and/or violates the law. Illegal drugs in our premises and events are for obvious reasons strictly prohibited. If we suspect that a participant is under the influence of an illegal drug we reserve the right to immediately ban the participant from Song:Expo.

All participants are expected to treat our premises and studio properties, whether material or intangible, with respect and care.

We, the management, reserve the right to verbally and/or in writing warn a participant who violates Song:Expo’s Code of Conduct. We reserve the right to ban a participant if a major violation of Song:Expo’s Code of Conduct Policy has been commited.

Violations of Song:Expo’s Code of Conduct can lead to:
A) full financial payback demand for hotel and flight costs covered by Song:Expo
B) legal consequences
